Backcountry Dental is a patient-centered small-town dental practice in Kellogg, Idaho. We prioritize quality of care over quantity of patients. We are looking for a hygienist who shares our philosophy of providing the best dental care and the best customer service possible to the Silver Valley. Treating periodontal disease starts with building great relationships with our patients.

You should live in or relocate to the Silver Valley, but all applicants who are willing to commute are welcome to apply. We would offer either relocation assistance or a travel stipend to cover the cost of gas.

Associate Dentist - Part-Time, Boise, ID

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice! We are a small but busy practice seeking an associate to work 2-3 days a week. We are open Monday through Friday from 7am-3pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and preventive care, as well as the ability to perform a variety of dental procedures.

Duties:

Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and assessments of patients' dental health.

Perform preventive and restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, and bridges.

Execute specialized treatments such as root canal therapy and endodontics.

Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions accurately.

Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Dentrix software.

Provide pediatric dentistry services with a focus on creating a positive experience for younger patients.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.

Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment to ensure efficient patient care.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Skills:

Proficient in root canal therapy and endodontics.

Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health.

Experience with medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.

Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is preferred.
