About the Idaho State Dental Association
Advancing Oral Health Through a Strong Dental Profession
The Idaho State Dental Association (ISDA) is the statewide professional association representing Idaho dentists and organized dentistry at both the state and national levels. As Idaho's constituent of the American Dental Association, we advocate for the profession, provide valuable member resources, and advance policies that help dentists provide the highest quality care to their patients.
Whether we're protecting the dentist-patient relationship at the Capitol, providing continuing education, supporting new dentists, or helping practices navigate today's challenges, everything we do is guided by one purpose: creating the conditions that allow Idaho dentists to deliver exceptional care to every patient they serve.

The Idaho State Dental Association serves dentists and the public by:
- Advocating for sound oral health policy and protecting the dental profession
- Providing continuing education and leadership development
- Supporting dentists throughout every stage of their careers
- Connecting members through seven local component dental societies
- Negotiating member benefits and practice resources
- Promoting public awareness of oral health
- Partnering with the American Dental Association to strengthen organized dentistry
Our Leadership
The ISDA is governed by volunteer dentists from across Idaho who are elected by their peers to represent members and guide the association's strategic direction.
Leadership terms begin each year on July 1 following installation at the Annual Session.
