Idaho Dental Foundation Awards $14,900 in Grants

Six Idaho dental programs can now serve more people in vulnerable populations thanks to grants from the Idaho Dental Foundation (IDF). These grants are part of the IDF’s mission to support ongoing oral health initiatives throughout the state of Idaho.

The $14,900 in funding was distributed to the following:

Children’s Free Dental Clinic  - SWIDS: $1,000.00

Dental materials and supplies for preventive and emergency care for low-income children.

Genesis Community Health Clinics - SWIDS: $2,000

The purchase of a cavitron.

Love Heals Free Clinics - SWIDS: $2,500

Dental materials and supplies for two pop-up clinics treating low-income children in Garden City.

Heritage Health Clinic - IPDS: $2,000

The purchase of a cavitron for a mobile dental clinic.

Terry Reilly - WTVDS: $5,000

The purchase of digital x-ray sensors. (Homedale/ Meridian Clinics) 

The Wellness Tree - SCIDS: $2,400

The purchase of two batteries for a Pro 2 portable x-ray machine and four treatment stools.
