Linda Edgar ADA

Linda J. Edgar, D.D.S., voted ADA president-elect

Linda J. Edgar, D.D.S., was voted president-elect of the American Dental Association during the House of Delegates meeting in Houston, ADA News reported. Dr. Edgar, a general dentist from Federal Way, Wash., previously served as the 11th District trustee, and also served as a delegate to the ADA House and as a member of the ADA Council on Dental Practice. "I just want to thank all of you for being here and serving," said Dr. Edgar, who received a standing ovation from the House. In her speech, Dr. Edgar also thanked her opponent and fellow ADA trustee, Paul Leary, D.M.D., who came to the stage to hug his friend and congratulate her.
