Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders
1 CE credit

The field of orofacial myology has become more popular and well know in the past five years. Why are so many Speech-Language Pathologist and Registered Dental Hygienists seeking out more knowledge and growing their clinical skills in orofacial myofunctional disorders? During the presentation we will discuss the following: what is orofacial myofunctional therapy, what impact does the tongue have on facial, airway and dental development, causes of an orofacial myofunctional disorder, how to identify an orofacial myofunctional disorder in your patients, and when to refer and treat for orofacial myofunctional therapy.

FREE event! But please RSVP as light food & drinks will be provided.
